Where is my Zoom recording?
In Documents › Zoom, if you recorded to your computer: by default Zoom makes one folder per meeting there, holding an MP4 and an M4A with the sound only. The M4A is the smaller file and has everything the transcript needs. Cloud recordings download from the Recordings page on zoom.us.
Is Zoom transcription free?
Yes: 90 minutes a day, with no account. A 40-minute meeting uses 40 of them.
Does it join my Zoom meeting?
No. It works on recordings only, and no bot joins your calls. Record the meeting in Zoom, then drop the file here.
Does it label who said what?
No. You get every word in order, without speaker names.
How long can the recording be?
Up to 90 minutes, with the audio under 95 MB, so a large MP4 is fine as long as the meeting fits in 90 minutes.
