This format stores times as frame numbers, so it has no meaning without a rate. We don't guess one.

Choose EUC-KR if an older TV or player shows broken Korean characters. EUC-KR can't hold some characters, like emoji, and you'll see how many before you download.
DVD rips often come with two files sharing a name, one .idx and one .sub. Together they're VobSub, the DVD subtitle format, and like Blu-ray subtitles they hold pictures of text. Drop both files here and you get SRT text to check and download, with nothing uploaded.
Questions
How do I convert IDX and SUB files to SRT?
Drop both files together, the .idx and the .sub with the same name. Check any lines marked as uncertain, then download the .srt.
I only have a .sub file. Will that work?
If it's a VobSub .sub, you need the .idx too, since that's where the timings are. If your .sub opens as plain text in Notepad, it's MicroDVD instead: use SUB to SRT.
Why do DVD subtitles come out with more mistakes than Blu-ray ones?
They're lower resolution, so the letters are blurrier and more of them come out wrong. Expect to correct a few lines.
My .idx lists several languages. Which one is converted?
You pick one before conversion starts.
