Convert MP4 to SRT: drop a video and its speech comes back as timed subtitles, ready for YouTube, Premiere or any player.
Transcription is free within your daily minutes
It uses your free daily minutes, and you confirm before it starts. A subtitle file dropped here is converted instead.

The preview below re-renders as soon as you change this.
This format stores times as frame numbers, so it has no meaning without a rate. We don't guess one.

Choose EUC-KR if an older TV or player shows broken Korean characters. EUC-KR can't hold some characters, like emoji, and you'll see how many before you download.
This makes subtitles for a video that has none. You get an SRT with every line timed to the speech, in whatever language is spoken. MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM and M4V files all work, up to 90 minutes long.
Questions
How do I convert MP4 to SRT?
Drop the video above, wait for the transcription, and download SRT. Timings come with every line.
How long can the video be?
Up to 90 minutes, as long as the audio fits in 95 MB. A phone or web MP4 fits easily. A film's surround soundtrack can reach that size in under half an hour, and the page tells you if it does.
Does the video already have subtitles inside?
If it does, you don't need transcription: extract them instead, which is faster and uses none of your minutes.
Does it work with MOV and MKV files?
Yes. MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM and M4V all work, as long as the sound is in a common format such as AAC, MP3, Opus or AC-3.
