The preview below re-renders as soon as you change this.
This format stores times as frame numbers, so it has no meaning without a rate. We don't guess one.

Choose EUC-KR if an older TV or player shows broken Korean characters. EUC-KR can't hold some characters, like emoji, and you'll see how many before you download.
This is the quick way to caption a podcast clip, an audiogram, or a video whose sound you have as a separate file. The audio is transcribed and comes back as subtitles, each line with its start and end time, ready for YouTube, Premiere or a video player. M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG and FLAC work the same way as MP3.
Questions
How do I convert MP3 to SRT?
Drop the MP3 above, wait for the transcription, and choose SRT when you download. Every subtitle comes with its start and end time.
Can I convert other audio formats to SRT?
Yes. M4A, WAV, AAC, OGG, OGA, FLAC and Opus all give the same result.
The lines are too long for the screen. Can I fix that?
Yes. Run the SRT through Remove or rebreak subtitle lines, which rewraps every cue to 42 characters and two lines.
Will the subtitles line up with my video?
They will if the audio is the video's own soundtrack and starts at the same moment. If the video has an intro the audio doesn't, shift the subtitles by that much.
