This podcast translator turns an episode in one language into text in another, which you can read, copy or download. Paste an episode link from Spotify or Apple Podcasts, or the show's RSS feed, or choose the episode's file: MP3, M4A, WAV and the other usual audio and video formats work. The translation is in English unless you pick another language in the list, and you never need to say which language the episode is in. Download it as TXT, SRT, VTT, Word or PDF.
Questions
Is the podcast translator free?
Yes, with no account. An episode can be up to 90 minutes long, and an episode file has to be under 95 MB.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. In Spotify or Apple Podcasts, tap Share on the episode and copy its link, then paste it here in Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone. An episode file saved on your phone works too.
Which languages can it translate?
Episodes in close to 100 languages, and the episode's language is detected for you. You get English unless you pick another language in the list beside the box, such as Spanish, Portuguese or French.
Can I download the translation?
Yes, as TXT, SRT, VTT, Word or PDF, or copy it from the page. SRT and VTT keep the time of every line, so you can follow the translation while the episode plays.
Which links work?
Episode links from Spotify and Apple Podcasts, a show's RSS feed, which gives you its newest episode, and a direct link to an episode's audio file. Links from YouTube and the other sites the homepage takes work too. Spotify exclusives, shows you can only hear on Spotify, don't.
